Data Governance & Privacy

IDcheck helps ensure compliance with growing data governance regulations

Data Governance, Secure Portal & Audit Trail

Share governed, sensitive data securely with internal and external parties, with built-in security that meets SOC-1 and 2 Type II and PCI DSS standards. Streamline collaboration across front and back office using private data exchanges.

IDcheck segregates processes from people. It provides data governance, data privacy, reports for internal controls, a full audit trail and complies with GDPR and BIPA regulations.

Each client is provided with a secure portal, with strict access controls and permissions and full control over which data is accessed and by whom. All users also have real-time access to view, update and delete any and all data. Our portal lets you create team managers and teams to segregate activities and replicate internal structures. When a member of staff leaves, or if a user deletes their account, anonymised data is held for completeness in the audit trail. Suppose you expect to screen 500 users but note 400 or 600 were billed: this might imply internal fraud where an employee was bribed to by-pass screening and edit your systems manually, or that a staff member is selling on screening services to a 3rd party. We track all system activity to mitigate internal and external fraud, as well as identity theft and to provide regulatory reporting data.

Data Integration: The Challenges

Lack of data integration is detrimental to growth and operational efficiency.

A lack of data management integration is driven by security risks and failure to integrate IT and tech systems within organizations and across third-party systems.

Multiple, fragmented systems with manual data entry, lack resilience and cannot scale easily. Many organizations are concerned they will lose their competitive advantage if they fail to improve integration and harmonization of data.

Know-Your-Vendor: Risk Mitigation

Can you audit your vendor? You may find vendors have undisclosed suppliers that cannot be audited and may be switched without you being aware. Ensure written policies and processes are implemented and can be demonstrated as this may form part of your regulatory requirements.
